Do Not Fear

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10

All throughout the Bible, God tells us who love and follow Him not to fear. Contrary to the popular graphic floating around online, “do not fear” is not mentioned 356 times in the Bible, but it is mentioned so often that we should not ignore it.

“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” -Isaiah 26:3

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” -Proverbs 31:25

“Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:6&7

No matter what, God is still God. No matter what people do, God is omnipresent. No matter who your boss is, God is omnipotent. No matter who is our country’s leader, God is still on the throne. Whenever you feel afraid, pray and confess His promises until you feel His peace. One of the inheritances we have in Christ is that we can live in God’s peace. Ask Him for His peace today.
